Haken tot je erbij neervalt!

Enkele jaren geleden had ik massa's garen gekocht om een bedsprei te maken. Ik was ijverig begonnen aan een ingewikkeld (en tijd consumerend) patroon, maar heb het na enkele maanden aan de kant gelegd. Het gevolg is dat ik het patroon kwijt ben en nog steeds met massa's wol zit.

Ik hou van granny squares dus met die wol weet ik nu wel raad. Met andere woorden ben ik begonnen aan bedsprei 2.0. Mijn inspiratie deed ik op via de Veritas website en onderstaand filmpje legt stap voor stap uit hoe je een leuke granny square kan maken, met een cirkel in het midden!

Vintage dress

For this dress I used a vintage look-a-like fabric. It's a 100% cotton fabric, I bought online (www.stoffen.net). It's a fabric out of the dapper collection.

I used a white cotton as lining instead of the fashion fabric. The pattern is very easy to use, I had it right from the first attempt.

Grandma's donation

This is the dress I've made out of the fabric my grandmother gave me! I just love it! I've used a pattern out of the magazine 'knipmode' juli 2012.

Jackie Style!

I've finished my second Jackie dress, this time I've made it out of wool instead of linnen. I love it!

I've used the medium sized bodice and the large skirt. That explains the darts in the skirt.

One one of my plenty shoppingtrips to the Veritas I've found three wonderful patterns on sale! (only 2 euro à piece!) My to do list is once again expanding!

De nieuwe Burda is er weer, vol met overheerlijke patronen. Met andere woorden, So much to do, so little time!

Op het verlanglijstje staat deze heerlijke rode cape, à la Red Riding Hood! Ik kan niet wachten om er aan te beginnen, ik heb al enkele stofstaaltjes besteld via www.stoffen.net!

Inspiratie voor deze winter!

Ik ben druk in de weer om verschillende kledingstukken te maken. Ik ga beginnen aan mijn wintergarderobe, maar hier heb ik wel eerst wat inspiratie voor nodig!

I've been shopping (again)!

My grandmother was so kind to donate the fabulous polkadot fabric! So cute!
